Queen's Landing

ARE YOU READY FOR THE GOOD LIFE?

Nestled on three sides by Macum Creek, the Chester River and Castle Harbor, Queen's Landing at Kent Island is a 349-unit condominium townhome community offering year-round vacation-style living for the discriminating buyer. This diverse community offers a wide variety of life-style possibilities, while remaining true to its relaxed image. With easy access to Route 50 and 2 miles from the Bay Bridge, Queen's Landing residents enjoy short commutes to Washington, Baltimore, BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, and ocean destinations. Our residents are close to the action, while experiencing a restful haven from the stresses of daily life.

Community Clubhouse

Recently renovated, the Clubhouse features a gathering lobby with seating for meeting friends and neighbors, a lending library, and a second-floor community room which is accessible by chairlift. The community room is the site for social activities, board meetings and other community functions, and is available for rent at a nominal charge for resident-sponsored events. Adjacent to the community room is a newly-upgraded full-service kitchen. The community room also features a new dance floor and stereo system, and has stunning 3-sided water views of the Chester River and Castle Harbor Marina.

Fitness Center

Our newly carpted fitness center features two elliptical machines, treadmills, Nautilus equipment, free weights, stationary bike, rowing machine and balance ball and TV. Within the fitness center is an indoor-racquetball court. Also accessible from the fitness center is our enclosed, year-round riverview spa--one of the more delightful places to be on a cold and snowy day!

Tennis Court

The tennis court, located on Queen Mary Court, is accessible by foot or car and is open year-round.

Walking Path

Because of its level topography, Queen's Landing is a natural draw for walkers, joggers, runners and bikers. In addition to neighborhood sidewalks, a gravel walking path graces the community's riverfront. It is not unusual to see fishermen casting their lines in search of the perfect catch, families having a picnic lunch, or birdwatchers viewing the incoming winter geese migration. Bikers are less than a mile from the Cross Island Trail which has recently been extended and is a great way to visit the local library, grab a coffee from Dunkin Donuts, or have lunch at our local eateries.

Boat Slips

As available, boat slips may be rented from the two marinas next to the community.

Swimming Pool

Situated on the Queen's Landing "point", the riverfront pool provides a welcome escape from everyday cares. Open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, the pool is the site of several community-wide parties, including a Fourth of July cookout.

Lake Amletto

Situated in the middle of the community, Lake Amletto is lovely year-round, especially in the fall when it is home to ducks, geese, swans and the occasional blue heron. Recently restocked, the Lake is open to residents who might like to fish from the bank or the bridge. Over 100 homes, many with enclosed sunporches, back to the lake.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

There's a good reason the Eastern Shore is called, "the land of pleasant living," and Queen's Landing is one of them. With many interior styles from which to choose and 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom homes, I invite you to come see what Queen's Landing has to offer. As a full-time, year-round resident and current Board Member, I would be more than delighted to refer you to an agent who can provide you with a personal tour of our fine community. Our owners are full-time residents, part-time residents, weekenders and investors.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to becoming your neighbor. For more information about the community, follow the link below. Come, live the good life!
